How I feel about January 20th

AP Photo/Jae C. HongAs I sit here on the couch, about a week after the day that history was made, I realized that I have not made any statements on how I feel about it all.You could probably guess that I'm elated, proud, and excited. While the landscape ahead of him is dark, nearly midnight-like, he has in many ways all ready climbed an unlikely mountain.Nevermind the fact that he is America's first black president, Bill Clinton doesn't count, he didn't come from money. If he did, people would have said "that's great but with his lineage that was bound to happen." President Obama essentially came from a single parent home. While I don't want to get all corny and say "anything is possible", President Obama is proof that great things can be accomplished if you are determined to make them happen, surround yourself with smart people, and fight off the persistent wave of haters that brush against you.I think if he continues to maintain a similar focus, strength, and strategy, he should do well.
