2013 Crosskey Travel Preview

Mardi Gras- 1999Every few years, we are blessed with a number of opportunities to get out of our residence and check out a few places we don't normally go. 2013 is that year for us. Yay!! After a few years of parenting, moving, and grieving, we get to do a little traveling. Starting next weekend we have a series of trips that takes us to new places and places that we love dearly. I will keep you updated on our travels with stories and pictures throughout the year. This is where we are going: New Orleans-  I think I'm the most excited about this one. While it will be muggy (trip is the first weekend of August), New Orleans always brings an amazing party vibe. It also brings tremendous food and beautiful scenery. I also hope to see some old friends while I'm there.Destin or Sanabel Island-  The Campbell family takes a trip every other year. This year it's been  narrowed to these two places. The trip will be over Christmas time. Honstly, a beach in December sounds pretty much like heaven to me. I've never been to either place so any feedback you can give me on which is better would be great.Surprise Destination-   This year will be me and Sheriss' 10th anniversary ( I know, it seems like just yesterday we were in Phillipe Park). Well to commemorate , we are going to take a weekend trip somewhere. It's yet to be determined but should be really sweet.Atlanta- In October, I will be attending the Social Games. The Social Games is an event that GOKickball LLC has taken over the production of as a way to build their overall brand and as a forum for their National Championships. I will be treating this as a GKB convention, meeting other market owners, learning best practices and, of course, partying. Are you traveling this year? Where are you going?
